We got exceptionally near to the wildlife and experienced close encounters with The Big Five; Elephant, lion, rhino, hippo and giraffe. The astonishingly rapid cheetah also became a new acquintance.

We loved Kenya. We highly recommend Diwaka Safaris and their tribal walking safari with the Masai Mara. Although we toured around on our own and visited many other parts of the country, the Masai Mara trip was really the highlight for us. With Jamleck and his team, we lived in the open and slept under the stars without sacrificing too many of life's little luxuries. The walks with Ben and our Masai Mara guides gave us the opportunity to learn first-hand about the fascinating culture of the Masai Mara people, and gave us a different perspective of Kenya's wildlife, flora and fauna.
