DESCRIPTION:
This is a permanent tented camp, built on the
Gregorian Escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. Set
in this stunning location, it overlooks a
spectacular panorama across Lake Manyara to Mount
Losimongori and miles of seemingly untouched Africa.
Kirurumu Tented Lodge is extremely unobtrusive,
rustic and has been designed to compliment the
Eco-system. The main building and a few of the
accommodation tents have a fantastic view of the
valley below. Impact on the Lodge’s surroundings has
been absolutely minimal, all utility lines are
carefully placed underground and hot water is
created by solar panels.

-
NUMBER OF ROOMS:
-
The lodge has a total of 20 tented rooms (of which 2

Room Décor:
The tented rooms are very basic and well spaced from
the others. The lower number tents have views facing
out onto the valley, whilst the rest face the
gardens. Each tent has a wooden veranda, with
armchairs and table, which is fantastic to sit on
and view the sunset. Each tent is protected from the
direct sun by a thatched roof. The tent bases are
made from local volcanic stone and the roofs are
thatched, blending into the environment.

The tents are fully furnished and comfortable with
