"A
challengers choice"
(This itinerary is adjustable to 4 or 5
days)
A very popular
traverse combining two of the
best-established routes on Mount Kenya
Hiking with straightforward paths. Both
routes have comfortable huts at the
appropriate overnight stops, manned by
caretakers and camping is not necessary
unless preferred. The last day of the trip
is inevitably long as you attempt the summit
and descend all the way to the Naro Moru
road trek head in order to meet up with your
transport off the Mountain. Due to the
challenge it posses on the final day we
recommend it to seasoned mountaineers only.
NB: This
itinerary can run in the reverse order
commencing on the Naro Moru route.
