LOCATION:
Olonana Tented Safari Camp is just on the
outside of the Masai Mara Reserve's
western boundary, which enables it to
offer the best of both worlds, with night
drives and walking safaris as well as
game-drives within the reserve. You can
fly or drive into the Masai Mara and it is
4½ hours by road from Nairobi.

DESCRIPTION:
This elegant and exclusive safari lodge
has an enviable position right on the Mara
River, over which thousands of wildebeest
cross during the annual migration. The
Camp’s unique setting offers a world of
remarkable opportunities for safari
adventurers. In addition to big game
viewing in the Masai Mara Reserve,
visitors are offered a rare glimpse of the
day-to-day lives of the Maasai people in
the adjacent Maasai village or 'engang'.
No other lodge in the Mara offers such a
close cultural experience with the Maasai.

comfortable queen-size beds, ensuite
bathrooms with showers, and large, river
