Tarangire sopa Lodge
Looking out over the rolling countryside the lodge is a tranquil oasis set in over 2,600 sq kms (900 sq miles) of National Park, built as a 'low profile' structure, nestles into a wooded hillside valley overlooking Tarangire Hill. The Tarangire flows north to south year-round and sustains an abundance of fauna and flora rarely seen elsewhere. The park is easily accessible and boasts magnificent herds of elephant and other species of wildlife of remarkable beauty and rewarding game drives and is on the traditional migration route of several species of wildlife.
LOCATION: Tarangire National Park, 120 Kms from Arusha town. The lodge is 30kms (20 miles) from the park entrance gate, about an hour's drive through an area rich in wildlife. The alternative is a 20 minute chartered flight from Arusha followed by a 45 minute drive through plentiful wildlife to the lodge.
CLIMATE: At an altitude of 1,100 metres (3,660 feet) with warm weather for most of the year. Seasonal rains in November and December and between April and June bringing new growth to the otherwise dry plains and savannah.

Room dcor: Large spacious rooms with private verandah which offers stunning views over the baobab studded landscape.
Room amenities: Each room enjoys wall-to-wall carpeting, a private lounge with a mini bar, a bedroom with two queen size beds and ample room for a third, an en-suite bathroom with shaver sockets and a hair dryer.
Special feature: The baobab studded landscape plays host to a vast variety of resident and migratory bird life as well as a high population of elephants.
