Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge
The lodge is perched on the rim of the incomparable Ngorongoro Crater, which is the second largest crater in the world. It is built mainly from natural stone and local wood and timber. The panoramic windows encompass a superb view of the 311 sq. km crater teeming with wildlife. Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge offers a magnificent perspective from the lodges' scenic Conservation terrace.
LOCATION: In the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, 185 km from Arusha / 295 km from Namanga Kenyan border / 410 from Nairobi / 60 km from Lake Manyara Hotel / 145 km from Seronera Wildlife Lodge/ 225 km from Lobo Wildlife Lodge.
CLIMATE: At 2286 meters (7,600 feet) above sea level. Chilly and cold weather, especially during the winter months of June and July when temperatures can get as low as 10' C or 50'F. Rest of the time is sunny. Rains between November and May.
Hotel Details
NUMBER OF ROOMS: 75 standard rooms (63 twins and 12 doubles), 01 one presidential suite and two junior suites. 10 rooms have Inter-connecting doors.
Room dcor: Very large spacious rooms with fabulous view over the crater.
Room Amenities: Central heating system, bathroom with bathtub, all rooms are naturally ventilated and are equipped with mosquito nets in front of all the ventilation vents.
Special feature: Spectacular view of the floor of the Crater from the terrace and rooms.
