Sarova Shaba Lodge

The lodge is an oasis of a lot of fresh running water from a natural spring in a semi-arid region. The grounds are well tended and the buildings thoughtfully designed to blend in with the environment and surrounded by an electrical fence.
Location
At Shaba Game Reserve, on the Northern part off Kenya. The distance is about 320Kms (5 hours) from Nairobi and 50 minutes by air to the Samburu Airstrip serviced by scheduled flights once daily from Meru, Nairobi and TO Masai Mara. A road from the airstrip takes about half an hour (park fees applicable). Shaba has an own airstrip not frequented bt scheduled flights.
Climate
Very hot and dry with temperatures averaging 29 degrees C (85 degrees F) during the day and warm nights.

Room dcor: All thatched chalets face the river, built with local material and are very spacious.
