The Hotel offers visitors exactly what its name denotes, combining all the best aspects of a modern City Hotel and a traditional bush Lodge, Ole Sereni captures the essence of Nairobi which is the only city in the world that boasts a Game Park within its precincts. This is evident as guests view animals at the waterhole in the Park from the Restaurants, Bar, Swimming Pool and selected parts of the Hotel.

Combining all the best features of a modern City Hotel and a traditional Wildlife Lodge, the Ole-Sereni is named after the Maasai name of the area, meaning ˜place of tranquility.

Location

Just off the Mombasa Road and overlooking the famous Nairobi Game Park, Ole Sereni Hotel is strategically positioned between the Airport and the city center, at an area fondly known as a ˜place of tranquility(Ole Sereni) by the Maasai.

Climate

Warm days average 24°C with cooler nights. June - July are colder months average 18°C and March - June have long rains while October - December short rains.

Ole-Sereni offers 134 tastefully decorated rooms divided into 28 standard rooms, 60 superior rooms, 14 deluxe rooms, 24 executive & club rooms, 6 junior suites and 2 executive suites.

 

Room dcor: The rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished offering guests the comforts of a modern city hotel.

 

Room amenities: All the rooms have a twin or double bed and are equipped with private bath/ shower, air conditioning, safe, mini bar, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, satellite TV, internet and direct dial telephone. Also provided in all rooms are bathrobes and bedroom slippers as all our guests are VIP.

 

Special feature: Guests view animals at the waterhole in the park from the restaurants, bars, swimming pool, selected rooms and parts of the hotel. As ˜the city hotel by the game park, it offers guests a chance to view game only 15 minutes after leaving the airport.
