The hotel was built in traditional Swahili style, nestling amid exotic gardens and fishponds shaded by ancient baobab trees. The timeless sounds of the ocean are constantly punctuated by the mingling cries of the Toucans and the Colobus monkeys as they leap from tree to tree. Papillon Lagoon Reef Hotel is all-inclusive. The hotels on this beach nestle in very refreshing tropical surroundings, including ancient baobabs, exotic gardens which go down to the white sand beach. It is not unusual to see monkeys frolicking in the hotel gardens, to the great delight of children. A swimming pool and bar are available to hotel residents. Excellent meals are served either in the restaurant or in the gardens.
