Amboseli Sopa Lodge

Set at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli sopa Lodge nestles in a flower strewn glade surrounded by tall acacia trees. Its long, sheltered veranda overlooks a natural spring frequented by birds and wildlife. Within a short walking distance one may visit the marvellous hippo pools. Spread out on a 200 acre estate on the lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, this lodge offers some of the most unusual features and facilities to be found at any safari destination in Kenya.
Location
The Lodge is set in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro inside Amboseli National Park.
Climate
Warm days and cool evenings. April-June, October-November are the rainy seasons.

Special features: The Lodge has microlite aircraft and one of the longest private bush tarmac airstrips in Kenya.
